Concept

Purrfolio’s is an app prototype for the iOS platform aiming to improve experience for long-term digital stock traders for a modest subscription fee. Core proposed features include: tracking portfolio from multiple investment accounts, exporting operations data and earnings into various formats for easy tax filing, categorizing stocks by folders.

Target Audience

The target audience is long-term investors with more than one financial accounts of ages 25-45. The early adopters will be confident smartphone users who either already have been investing for some time or recently started investing looking for helpful applications/platforms to assist them in tracking performance of their multiple portfolios.

Identity

Purrfolio’s identity is based on an idea of being professional and approachable. Logo is one of the few pieces that allows the tone of voice to be more casual. Purrfolio’s logo is a combination of a logo mark and word mark that can be used in multiple ways.

Brand Guide

Web-based brand guide will ensure Purrfolio’s brand consistency throughout all future supporting materials and applications. There are multiple sections dedicated to the brand identity, logo applications, use of visuals, app and web designs.

Prototype

Mobile app prototype is a point of focus of this project. Purrfolio’s user experience and screen layouts were influenced by trends and common navigation practices. Emphasis was put on ensuring intuitiveness and ease of navigation. Apart from the features available in free version of the app, paid version would allow traders to organize their portfolios based on chosen criteria, export to multiple formats and follow upcoming IPOs.

Website

Purpose of the Purroflio’s website is to introduce the app to the users, provide necessary information on installation and use. Website has multiple pages including home, pricing, FAQs, and contact.
