RidgeTech Automation Inc. is a control systems integrator company located in Cambridge, Ontario. RidgeTech Automation offers wide variety of automation services including consulting, electrical designs, robot programming, smart factory solutions, installation of control panels, and more.

Even though the company has been growing steadily thanks to innovation and efficiency, at some point management recognized a need to take their brand to the next level. And refining brand image and establishing strong online presence seemed to be a way to do it.

Improving Brand

Even though RidgeTech Automation brand was getting recognition in the industry, there was no consistency between different materials and marketing strategies. Creating brand guidelines felt not just important but vital for the brand to move forward and use it as a strong foundation for further improvements. This has allowed to unify the approach to developing various visual materials.

This 4-month marketing and design project was aimed at improving brand at various touchpoints by making it more cohesive and approachable with the help of updated marketing materials, online platforms and other means of communication. The main goal was to improve RidgeTech’s brand while preserving its existing identity and visuals.

LinkedIn & website

Developing social media strategy is another important step of strengthening the brand. It was decided to put more emphasis on LinkedIn company’s page as thousands of industry professionals, aspiring engineers and B2B companies prefer using this platform for networking and sharing industry-specific content.

The strategy involves following certain steps to maximize potential engagement and exposure of each post which resulted in gaining 200+ followers over the period of project and increasing the average engagement per post. A few website pages saw a slight visual redesign and implementation of major SEO practices.

Print Design

A set of brochures was created for AVEVA online expo to make all information easily accessible and structured. There are brochures on services, industries, general information, a couple of success stories and case studies.
