Fractionum is an investment company offering young adults the opportunity to invest in commercial real estate by purchasing fractional ownership in properties while managing and operating them on their behalf.
The project was about delivering a brand "from scratch" along with assets to support the launch of a new form of investing for young Canadians - fractional real estate. An emphasis was put on landing page, website and e-blasts designs since the platform’s main pre-launch goal is to build a sizeable waitlist of first wave users.
Inspiration for the Fractionum's logo was drawn from the house shape infused with modular segments based on “F” and “r” letter shapes. By adding shaded sides to the main form, we wanted to create a sense of three dimensions and reflect on the nature of the company.
The aim of the landing page is to inform first-time visitors about the business model, attract as many waitlist sign-ups as possible and build anticipation. By prioritizing transparency, clear messaging, and page structure with enough CTAs, we were able to create a landing page that works well both on desktop and mobile.
The website design builds upon elements established on landing page with more visual details, information, and functionality. Most of the pages like home, how it works (about), blog and contact, are mostly informational and don’t have a lot of dynamic content. However, properties page and user’s dashboard feature a number of interactive widgets like returns calculator, investment tier cards, dynamic properties pages, portfolio analytics and more.
With the high emphasis that client was putting on email marketing, I created a set of e-blast templates for the most common use cases. Templates include welcome message, new investment opportunity and new blog post email designs.
After coming up with a few ad templates I optimized them to be used as desktop banners, Instagram stories, and Facebook promoted posts.
