Magellan Construction is a firm specializing in Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional applications of varying degrees in complexities, capable of ground-up construction, and interior/exterior renovations. It has been conducting business with companies, such as, The Home Depot, Walmart, Tim Hortons, Meridian Credit Union, Brock University and other.
Magellan Construction is known for its integrity and great communication and yet it didn’t have a website. At some point the owner realized that it is vital for any business to be present in digital space to connect with its existing clients and attract new ones. Magellan Construction was looking for the website that would stand out from other dull web pages loaded with text information and yet feel intuitive in navigation.
The core idea (and a challenge) was to create a website that would evoke almost instant positive impression of Magellan Construction and focus on the importance of integrity. This was achieved through the use of uplifting branded colors, imagery and content of testimonials, community involvement and history sections.

Mobile version of the website was also developed along with desktop one to ensure the best user experience across all platforms. Emphasis was put on adapting the layout to vertical screens to focus on important sections and make them visually appealing and easy to read. Some changes were also made to the navigation bar and footer taking in consideration difference between platforms.
